JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Inventory System Specialist is responsible for processing inventory transactions for the distribution arm of Seprod Ltd. as well as act as team monitor and guide in the absence of the team Supervisor
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process/approve requests to receive, move and adjust inventory in the systems for the distribution companies
- Accurately maintain inventory costing in the inventory management systems
- Log, file and dispatch all relevant documentation related to stock movement and adjustment transactions
- Process inventory transfers to and from the van sales team
- Perform the relevant setups and complete data entries for stock taking exercises
- Prepare and distribute reports on the department's activities as required by the company
- Check and confirm team transactions in the absence of the team Supervisor
- Enforce and maintain SOPs for smooth team operations
- Responsible for cycle counts, inspections, and daily reconciliation
- Any other duties that may pertain to the system management of inventory for the company as indicated by the team supervisor or department manager
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, or related discipline
- 1-3 Years, preferably in technical or computer-based fields
