JOB SUMMARY                                                                            

The role represents the center of expertise regarding strategic sales and distribution via the mobilization of a sales team to effect direct distribution to outlets. Strategic leadership and direction of the Sales Team to ensure that the distribution base is widened and new accounts objectives as well as sales, profitability objectives are achieved. Provides leadership and direction for achieving the company’s commercial and sales strategy, resulting in business growth and increased profits within targeted channels.


  • Establishes and maintain strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders to drive mutual growth and profitability
  • Develops and implement procedures and policies to ensure the effective operations of the sales organization
  • Develops regional and channel strategy for the assigned area deliver the numeric distribution objectives
  • Develops and implement through the sales team plans to ensure acceptable performance on each brand distributed, ensuring that the targets are met
  • Directs  the implementation of the Brand and Trade Marketing strategy through the sales team
  • Develops and drive go-to-market strategy and develops sales    tools/support needed to grow the business in the targeted channels
  • Fosters customer business development by implementing effective programmes
  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate supplier and company goals
  • Analyzes data; prepares and presents reports
  • Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules and discount opportunities
  • Establishes and maintains a system to monitors Daily Sales and Customers’ Accounts  in order to keep all accounts current and in good standing
  • Directs channel development activities and manages sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas and goals
  • Adjusts sales strategy based on market research and competitor analysis
  • Implements distribution strategies and manages multiple channel selling strategies
  • Coaches,  develops and manages Sales Team ( Area Sales Mgrs. & Sales Representatives capable of carrying out required sales and service initiatives
  • Meets with key customers, assisting the process of maintaining relationships, negotiating and closing deals
  • Assigns sales territories/routes as required in collaboration
  • Conducts performance reviews for all members of the Sales Teams, and develops monthly/quarterly sales quotas according to territory
  • Assists with the Company’s public relations and promotional efforts, in order to enhance good customer relations and the promotion of our corporate image.
  • Resolves product or service problems and disruptions, and customer complaints involving individual members of the sales team, contracted service providers
  • Any other duties as assigned from time to time.


  • Degree in Business Administration/Sales/ Marketing/ Management/ Economics
  • 5 years’ experience in Sales Leadership
  • Excellent leadership  and communication skills


  • Creative personality with initiative and clarity of purpose
  • Comfortable with financial terms and measures
  • Ability to develop, motivate and  build effective working teams
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Sound PC skills-Excel, Power Point
  • Selling & Sales Techniques

  • Confident, establishes presence and generates positive energy
