Job summary
The role supports the flow of production to achieve packing of finished products to the Company’s standards.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Row up biscuits according to packaging specifications
- Ensure consistent feeding of biscuits to packaging machine to maintain optimal output
- Ensure that the package and carton contains the correct quantity of products
- Ensure that the pallets are properly packed and recorded on the log sheets
- To ensure that good housekeeping practices and Good Manufacturing Practice’s (GMP’s) are maintained in the work area
- Adheres to Food Safety compliance and relating Safety, Health, Environment (SHE) in the execution of daily tasks
Qualifications
- Secondary Level Education with passes in Mathematics and English Language
- Current possession of a Food Handler’s permit is an asset
- Experience with food manufacturing is an asset
Abilities, skills, and experience
- Ability to communicate with supervisor and follow general instructions
- Ability to work in a team and with minimal supervision
- Ability to detect deviation from normal procedures, flexibility, alertness and coordination
