The IBL plant produces a wide assortment of cookies and crackers under the Butterkist brand and a wide range of snacks under the Snackables brand along with third-party brands such as Ovaltine. Today the name Butterkist is synonymous with Jamaican favourites exporting to markets in the USA, Canada, UK, Latin America and the Caribbean IBL has built a global reputation for quality and affordability, the factory is FSSC 22000 and RSPO certified, and with a recent plant investment of $170M, it stands ready to expand its outsourcing capabilities. Continual upgrade in ovens, liquid oil spray machine and storage space has improved productivity and reduced the cost profile for IBL over the years. 53,000 pounds of dough per day, 24-hour shifts, five days per week for sweet or savoury snacks for the young and young at heart any IBL product is sure to hit the right spot.
