SALES AND OPERATIONS PLANNER

 

THE ROLE

 The successful candidate for this opportunity will support the business through the preparation of credible sales analyses as well as supply chain management and related operational activities required in the decision-making process.

 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

 Prepares monthly forecast and analysis of sales by coordinating and managing Sales Order Management system.

  1. Reviews, improves and maintains a credible and current Sales Forecasting Model
  2. Collaborates and collects data for Sales & Operation Planning and lead weekly review sessions
  3. Liaises with Group Supply Chain Manager to escalate critical out of stocks for raw materials, packaging, and spares.
  4. Maintains optimal inventory levels at various stages in supply chain
  5. Prepares the Weekly Finished Goods Report and present to Warehouse & Operations Manager
  6. Develop warehouse performance KPIs to effect robust monitoring of warehouse activities
  7. Coordinate inventory and planning activities as per policy
  8. Conduct Sales forecasting and planning with the objective of optimizing inventories in the various operations in an efficient manner.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  1.  BSc in Management Studies, Operations Management, Logistics or related field.
  2. At least two (2) years’ experience, preferably in the food manufacturing industry
